How to Become a Top-Popular Manga Character

[The cover is a template] Another hit from renowned manga artist Kuteng, Dark Swamp, became an instant sensation upon release. The latest character to appear, Wen Yiqi, has sparked another wave of heated discussion A white-haired, green-eyed boy with a frail, harmless air, accidentally made a test subject at a shady underground laboratory, then rescued by the protagonist, Xia Le. His origins are mysterious, and no one knows where he came from. His supernatural abilities are unusual, almost as if he knows everything and can do anything. At first, readers thought he was a gentle, courteous little invalid with the debuff of blindness. But as the story unfolded, one unexpected scene followed another. [The Omniscient], who sees the past and the future, is both the hand moving the pieces on the board and an aloof spectator. But what if a wise man who could have stayed out of things willingly stepped into the game… Was it a god’s mercy, unable to bear the world’s suffering with eyes open, that made him take on the trappings of mortal life? From their god’s-eye view, readers watched helplessly as the slender boy bore the weight of a heavy fate. Each time he forced himself to make a prophecy, he coughed up blood, his face turning pale. Drops of scarlet plum blossoms stained the thorns of the man who dared to defy fate. Beneath the white bandages over his eyes, shadows gradually swallowed the green after each failure, yet he still smiled at his friends, calm and radiant, as if nothing were wrong. Until at last, cruelly breaking with his closest friends, the white-haired boy walked alone into the darkness. When they met again, Wen Yiqi had become a senior leader on the opposing side, his eyes filled with emotions Xia Le could not understand. No one knew what the boy, once so unskilled in combat, had endured to reach a position of leadership. In the manga’s final chapter, when the truth came to light, everyone desperately tried to make him stay. Xia Le/Saiges/ Ming Fei: Come back. Readers: Come back, aaah! (Wailing in despair, but beating up the author.jpg) * Wen Yiqi sighed and muttered under his breath, “I think I overdid the act…” Looking at his friends and the vast sea of posts on the forum, he said, “All right, I won’t die this time.” The little white-haired fluffball shook its head helplessly. The boy’s lips curled into a smile, revealing a bold, unrestrained side no one had ever seen. The sickly air was gone. “The world will never fall,” declared the Omniscient. This time, even the smallest drop of water would reflect a rainbow. A polished, frail-looking boy who is two-faced, deep-thinking, and all too happy to cough up blood and play up his illness to rake in popularity points. Warnings: 1. Yu Ci goes through the same routine as the NPCs in every world: elementary school, middle school, high school, then college. Oh, wait, college is assigned automatically. On the day his acceptance letter arrived, a potted plant suddenly dropped out of nowhere. Thud! Bullseye! As soil showered down, the gloomy-looking boy wiped his face and said flatly: “Shit.” - Before starting college, Yu Ci accidentally learned that this world was actually a manga. And he was nothing but a nameless extra destined to be cannon fodder. His assigned roles included, but weren’t limited to: Mocking the protagonist’s group, egging them on, kicking them when they were down, praising them to the skies, becoming one of their many admirers and literally risking life and limb for them… That’s right, he had to do all of it, good and bad. In short, he ran all over the set and still didn’t deserve a name. Yu Ci was furious. Did being an extra mean he didn’t deserve human rights? Sure, he was ordinary in every way, but he’d been at the top of his class for years. Was he really going to become a brainless piece of cannon fodder as soon as he enrolled in a university for supernatural abilities!? Unbelievable! Most importantly, the manga ended terribly. The author went completely nuts and gave it a finale where everyone died together. Yu Ci, reading this: … Fine :) - On the first day of term, Jiang Yubai noticed the boy sitting in the farthest corner of the classroom His black hair was long enough to cover his eyes, and he had a gloomy air about him. His face was hidden, but he gave off such an oppressive presence that an empty space had formed around him. The moment Jiang Yubai stepped into the classroom, the boy looked up as if sensing him. Through the crowd, their eyes met. The boy’s dark pupils seemed to seep with bloodlust and malice. His gaze was as still as an ancient well, yet it made Jiang Yubai’s hair stand on end. The boy silently curled his lips into an eerie smile and mouthed a few words. Jiang Yubai read them: “Finally, we meet, Destroyer.” - The manga Records of Supernatural Abilities was savaged by readers for its awful ending. With the forum crawling with furious fans, the author, Shuya, announced: “A remastered edition of Records of Supernatural Abilities will start serializing in three months. I can’t promise the ending will be different. After this, the manga will never be revised again.” The remade manga followed the original story beat by beat. Just as readers thought the tragedy was about to repeat itself, the plot changed. A character who had never appeared before emerged, draped in the heavy aura of a villain. At first, everyone thought Yu Ci was the new villainous boss. Only after it was too late did they realize he was the savior who had shouldered everything through the endless night. Sadly, the one who brought firewood to keep everyone warm froze to death in the snow. Amid the forum’s anguished howling, Yu Ci fell on the eve of dawn. But at that moment, Yu Ci had just dug himself out of the dirt. Holding his diploma and his reward for saving the world, the boy happily prepared to start his retirement early. “Woohoo!” Yu Ci: Villainous aura at full blast, terminally obsessed with being number one. #The protagonist won’t put in the effort, so I’ll have to do it myself!# #Move aside, let them see who the real powerhouse is!# #Damn it, don’t underestimate the strength of an extra!# #Who gave me this villain filter… Hey, stop crying and look carefully, I’m the villain!# My profile also has the no-CP story After Accidentally Joining a Talent Show, The Guide to a Bad Ending, the danmei story Stop Reading Government Documents!, and the self-love story Huh? Is It Wrong to Be Self-Absorbed?, among others. Please add them to your collection! (rolls around) Theme: Never give up hope, even in the direst circumstances
