Xie Chichun agreed to bind himself to a System and correct the storylines of people whose fates had been derailed.
But you can’t expect a ginkgo tree that’s gained sentience to understand people, can you?
So, of course, a few little mishaps during the missions are perfectly reasonable.
Xie Chichun: Studying the art of human manipulation with utmost seriousness.
[Plum Wine]
Born with dulled pain sensitivity, this dashing young man lorded it over the capital, relying on his martial prowess.
His friends were used to the noisy bird chattering by their ears. They watched helplessly as he seemed impervious to pain and utterly indestructible.
What could they do? The guy would grab your sleeve and feed you terrible jokes.
But if he couldn’t feel pain… breaking the wings of hawks and sparrows and trampling them into the mud didn’t matter, right?
Until the northern frontier fell, one step at a time.
By then, his friends had ascended the throne and risen to the highest offices. At last, they pardoned the general and hurried thousands of miles to his side.
After the battle that turned the tide, the soldiers raised their cups around the fire.
They were used to the general showing no signs of fatigue or pain. So when he wrinkled his nose and said he wanted to change clothes, no one noticed his red robe was soaked through.
For half a lifetime, he loved wine and revelry, and slept drunk on the battlefield.
For what remained, all four limbs broken, he endured agony beyond measure. His lifelong wish went unfulfilled, and he never knew a single day of peaceful sleep.
His friends praised and honored him to the utmost, but all that remained was silence.
[Marigold]
On the walls of the dream, the remains of a hundred butterflies lay dormant. The hurricane of fate came to a halt.
“Don’t be sad.”
The once-vibrant, bright-eyed youth could no longer hide the weariness in his eyes as he clumsily tried to comfort his dearest friend.
Please don’t be sad just because a creator has atoned for their sins.
Please, enjoy the sunshine to your heart’s content.
[Blowing Moonlight]
The young man shattered the shackles weighing on everyone, breaking the constraints imposed by their genes.
In the final moment before the surveillance system was destroyed, that person stood alone, covered in grime and stripped of all dignity.
“All lives are born equal.”
Humanity will be free at last.
[White Drum Nail]
“Dandelions are plants that flee in every direction on the wind, yet spread hope wherever they go.”
Once they escape the confines of the program, this place will one day be green as far as the eye can see.

System: …What have you done?
Xie Chichun smiled brightly and changed the subject: Oh, congratulations to Number Six on your year-end bonus.
[Reader's Guide]
1. Please read the author's note in Chapter One for content warnings before starting.
2. This is a writing exercise, an attempt to try different approaches and styles. The writing is amateurish and the plot has no logic.
3. Please don't offer writing advice. No need to tell me if you drop the story. I hope everyone finds something they enjoy!
4. More to be added if I think of anything.

A recommendation for my next no-romance story: Transmigrated Into the Protagonists’ Teacher Before the Exam
Before his teacher certification exam, Si Tingchen bowed to greet the examiner. The next second, an explosion roared in his ears.
He hadn’t even managed to say, “Good morning, Examiner,” before looking up and realizing he’d transmigrated.
The Wasteland’s Wild Fantasia, a dark, brutal comic where everyone, from the protagonist’s group to the villains, is a mad yandere.
The most-wanted fugitive, with a thirteen-city bounty on his head; a money-hungry, arrogant merchant; or a corrupter lurking in the shadows.
The three young men who were supposed to be the protagonists were only bound together by life, death, and mutual interests.
They were at odds, sabotaged each other, and schemed against one another: a hopeless bunch with no teamwork whatsoever.
One day, a powerful and mysterious character appeared, stepping into this thoroughly desolate world.
Si Tingchen stood on top of the protagonist and gave a gentle sigh. Beside him, the male lead, Chu Siyu, struggled and shouted in defiance, like a fierce but scrawny wolf cub.
He leaned down, tightening the whip in his hand, and gently patted the young man’s cheek.
“What a disobedient child.”
–
Much, much later.
When the wasteland’s wild fantasies swept across the whole planet and civilization collapsed,
only amid the storm of thoughts did everyone finally realize how gentle that brutal man had been in secret.
He had kept all the darkness for himself.
“That was the darkest of times. The end of civilization was like the fading embers of fireworks, and humanity’s legacy was fragile beyond measure.
“So savagery and primitiveness returned, and thought perished.”
“And he, our most beloved teacher,
“was civilization made flesh.”
-
At first, Si Tingchen, who had mysteriously been dragged here and saddled with a few students, faced the threat of being jobless as soon as he graduated. “You promised I’d get a permanent position if I taught these kids well!”
Later, enduring the agony of his body being torn apart, he looked down at the world reborn amid the ruins and laughed through a mouthful of blood.
“You’ve got some nerve, messing with my students!”
Si Tingchen: An early childhood education student and an unlucky soul who transmigrated during his exam.
He looks hot-tempered and tyrannical, but really has a mother hen’s heart. His principles are flexible.
#He’s got his major down to the bone (not literally)#
#What kind of teacher is this… Hey! Don’t you have teachers of your own? He’s mine! (glares)#
#Again!? Si Tingchen, how many students are you going to take in?#
#I can’t believe I’m not your only student! You heartbreaker!#
Theme: Cherish the present, don’t worry about the future
I don't quite understand why this strange story disappeared.
I thought it was a revolving lantern [cracked]
