Synopsis

A global game descends, and order collapses. It is an apocalypse on a scale the world has never seen.

Luobai is reborn on the seventh day after the game begins, the very day his body died.

Just as the System is about to declare Luobai dead, with his health reduced to zero, he suddenly wakes up.

System: “Help!! A corpse is moving!”

Luobai impatiently summons a skeletal hand. “Shut up.”

The System faints.

In other people’s eyes, Luobai is a frail, kindhearted priest in need of protection.

“Luobai donated his food share again yesterday. He’s such a good person.”

“When Little Bai helped us fight the boss, he didn’t even ask for any precious resources. All he wanted was a few pairs of pretty eyes as souvenirs.”

“When the cold snap hit recently, people were selling winter clothes for one gold coin, but Luobai only asked for a couple of animal bones.”

“Luobai is such a saint. Sob, without him, we’d all be dead.”

Luobai: Is there something wrong with you people for thinking a necromancer is a good person?

When the final battle arrives, everyone decides that Luobai is the weak link in Blue Star’s forces, and that they should all attack him together.

An army of thousands closes in on the city. Luobai waves his hand, and a vast horde of skeletons pours forth.

Luobai: “Thank you for agreeing to join my army. You’re all so generous.”

The aliens fall silent. You call him weak?

1. The main plot comes first, romance later. Everyone is focused on the protagonist, but not romantically. Shen Di is the love interest.

2. This is a lighthearted story. Logic was eaten by my cat.

Coming soon: "Divine Investment"

Xu Ze, who has the supernatural ability called the Golden Eye, transmigrates into an urban danmei novel as a lovesick doormat.

The doormat is in love with the protagonist who is pursued. He gives him money, resources, and connections, and eventually becomes a vegetable after taking a knife meant for him. The pursued protagonist then takes the doormat’s resources and runs into the arms of the protagonist who pursues him. Together, the two powerful men build a business empire.

Xu Ze glances at a discarded web-series proposal beside him. The words “500% return on investment” shine clearly before his eyes.

“My first fortune starts with you.”

Business prodigy Xu Ze bursts onto the scene.

The young man, with no powerful connections, appears at a business gala, where everyone looks down on him.

“He just got lucky.”

“He only made a few thousand. He’ll burn through that in no time.”

“If he can do it, so can I.”

Xu Ze simply raises his glass and smiles.

Later, every web series Xu Ze invests in becomes a smash hit.

The actors he picks become wildly popular.

The game company he buys into earns more than a billion a month.

He also opens a milk tea shop, gets into real estate, and branches out into artificial intelligence, new energy, and more...

By the time everyone comes to their senses, they realize Xu Ze has a stake in nearly every industry.

Those who once looked down on him no longer even qualify to speak to him.

Xu Ze can see the value of every investment, except for one person, whose head is marked with a question mark.

Mysterious, unpredictable, and full of challenge.

Xu Ze boldly steps forward. “Sir, I’d like to invest in you.”

The chief scientist adjusts his glasses. “I’d be honored.”

Romance, danmei, and no-couple novels. All are really good stories I've read recently about groups of people who transmigrate into survival games.

Recommendations I personally enjoy. Updated from time to time. Usually five stars; four stars generally means there's something controversial about them.

A Reading List So I Don’t Have to Keep Rereading

I've read too many books and can't remember them all later, so I want to jot down a few thoughts. Something to reread when I'm out of things to read. All kinds of genres, but I prefer no CP, minimal romance, or plot-driven sweet stories.

Books I thought were good, saved here. A lot of them would be five stars, but the System won't let me. JJ, your System really sucks... I either didn't have time to write a review or forgot.

Personal Reading Notes, Rants, and Tags

Marking stories I've browsed for my own use. The protagonist comes first, always!! Mostly low-to-mid ratings. I'll raise the score after finishing a story, and will try not to give low ratings that hurt its score.

Good Reads, Love Them ②

I like world-building, farming, business management, post-apocalyptic settings, infinite-flow, level-up stories, and satisfying plots, sometimes mixed with harem stories. Cheating male leads are a dealbreaker.
