A new teacher named Baize arrived at the Konoha Ninja Academy.

With gold-rimmed round glasses perched on his nose, he was refined, gentle, and courteous. He always noticed when his students were struggling and offered them the kindest encouragement and help, guiding them out of their troubles.

There wasn't a student or teacher who didn't like him, even though at first he was just an ordinary person with no chakra.

Baize smiled kindly. "Thank you for the compliment. I just arrived in the ninja world, and I don't know my way around. Aside from intelligence and luck, both at MAX, all my other stats are 1. The child clung to Pain's leg. His baby fat had yet to disappear, and he was adorably chubby all over.

Sucking on his finger, the child pointed at the Akatsuki members and asked Pain in a sleepy daze, "Big brother, can I eat all these foods...?"

Someone burst out laughing. "Hahahaha! You want to eat me, kid? Go ahead, I'm waiting!"

Then he discovered that his chakra had been drained in an instant, and collapsed limply onto the ground.

The Taotie snorted. "Eat you? You look like a fish-headed idiot. Who knows if you'd give me indigestion? We're Taotie of the new age, and we have discerning tastes, okay?!"

Next, Baize opened a third, fourth... and Nth secret identity.

Bifang, hot-tempered and fond of breathing fire, who had slaughtered his way through the ninja world during the Warring States period;

Wenyao, who meant to go to the Land of Water but somehow ended up in the Land of Wind, where he developed techniques for growing crops in sandy soil;

Much later, an evil organization called the "Shanhai Alliance" became infamous throughout the ninja world. It was said that its members could move mountains and overturn seas, and committed every kind of evil. Its leader was especially devious.

Baize sat elegantly in a rocking chair with his legs crossed, reading the paper. He pushed up his glasses and pondered the headline: "Breaking News! Every resident of a village in the Land of Hot Water vanished overnight. Sources suspect the 'Shanhai Alliance' is responsible."

Wait, he remembered that every person in that village was a cultist with several lives on their hands. He'd only helped wipe them out on a whim!

At first, when faced with blame, Baize pointed and protested: "Fake news! Fake news!"

Once he'd gotten used to it, when faced with blame, Baize declared without a hint of shame: "That's right, I did it. So what?"

After becoming the final boss and unifying the ninja world, Baize smiled nonchalantly: "Go on, everyone. Keep arguing. I'm listening."

1. No CP. This is my take on the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and it's not meant for scholarly scrutiny. The protagonist switches back and forth between a human form and the original forms from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and his personality changes along with his secret identities.

2. The protagonist has a System and knows nothing about the Naruto plot. For now, the story is set in the Naruto world; other manga may be added depending on how things go.
