The Forecast Calls for Fog

A fleeting romance | A touch of possessive coercion | A sharp champagne

-

Lin Yucheng knows that when she approached Chen Huai, her feelings were eighty percent sincere and twenty percent false.

Perhaps she felt guilty, or perhaps she valued those few sincere feelings too much.

During all the time she was with Chen Huai, she never did anything that truly wronged him. She did her best to treat him well.

Until an international phone call ordered her to return home and get married.

She didn't know what to do. She had fallen for him in this fleeting romance and found she couldn't bear to leave. She wanted to rebel against her fate for his sake, just this once.

But she never expected Chen Huai to be the one to suggest breaking up. He said politely and coldly:

“If we're just using each other, then let's end things here and part on good terms.”

Lin Yucheng realized he had seen through everything long ago and had toyed with her like she was a fool. Even the small, pitiful bit of sincerity she had felt was dismissed along with the rest.

After returning home, she quickly got engaged and cut off all contact with him.

But before the wedding, she received a phone call.

He said he had no intention of letting her go.
