Echizen Doesn't Get It

After secretly loving Yueqian for ten years, I finally married him.

But he doesn't love me.

He doesn't even know how much I love him.

To avoid making things awkward for him, I have to pretend I don't like him.

The morning after our wedding, he spent half an hour changing his shoes in the entryway before heading out.

I was worried.

But I couldn't let it show.

He hesitated, then asked me, "Should we have a good-morning kiss?"

So he was worried I might kiss him.

Even though it hurt, I kept a cold expression and promised, "That's never going to happen. You can stop hoping."

He finished changing his shoes in a second and left.

On Valentine's Day, he didn't go to training with his teammates. Instead, he asked me,

"It's Valentine's Day today. Want to go on a date?"

So he was worried I'd pester him to go on a date.

The truth was, I really wanted to go out with him.

But I couldn't make someone who didn't love me bear the weight of my love.

So I asked coldly, "You're skipping training today. Don't tell me you're waiting to celebrate Valentine's Day? Come on, don't be so childish. Are you even a professional athlete?"

He didn't say a word and left the house at once.

Every time I watched him walk away,

I cried silently.

He didn't understand.

He really didn't understand.

I finally married him, but somehow, we aren't happy.

I think it's time to let go.

Let's divorce. I'll set both him and myself free.
