Echizen's Kid Wants a New Dad

Kawano Kanemi was stopped on her way to school.

A ridiculously handsome guy, about 1.8 meters tall and wearing a school uniform, looked her over with droopy, catlike eyes.

"That face really is pretty. Should be enough to get me a decent new dad."

He said his name was Echizen Sumisora.

He was seventeen.

And he was the son of her and Echizen Ryoma.

...Her son?!

She was only fourteen!

And who the heck was Echizen Ryoma?!

Echizen Sumisora lifted her chin with his tennis racket and mused,

"After you marry Echizen Ryoma, he'll break your heart every day. So I came here to stop you two from getting married."

"Most importantly, I want a new dad!"

Kawano Kanemi: A new dad???

What a dutiful son you are.

With a fake smile on his face, he started pitching a bunch of handsome tennis players.

"This is Akutsu from Yamabuki. Gentle and patient."

"This is Kirihara from Rikkai. Emotionally stable."

"This is my dad's cousin, Ryoga. Deeply devoted and faithful."

Kawano Kanemi: Wait, the personalities you're describing are nothing like the delinquents I know! Are you actually trying to assassinate your own mother?

#Mom's a mess, Dad's a mess, so the good son takes up his father's cause. (Wait, isn't your dad enjoying this?)
