I Refuse to Pretend to Be a Couple with That Arrogant Guy

“Shocking! Romance revealed for top actress: her civilian boyfriend is a volleyball middle blocker!”

In the photo, megastar Iwakura Kiri tilts her head back and lifts her sunglasses with one hand, her beautiful eyes fixed coolly on the camera. Beside her stands a 190-centimeter-tall man with short, pale blond hair, his gaze just as indifferent.

The photo set off a storm of public discussion the moment it was released. The entire internet cried, “Please, for my sake, you two have to get married!”

Iwakura Kiri has a politician mother, Iwakura Mitsuko, and an award-winning actor father, Shima Sosuke. Naturally, she’s a beautiful and brilliant young woman.

Unfortunately,

she’s a vicious, heartless politician who only pretends to be friendly.

She comes to Miyagi Prefecture to film a volleyball documentary.

She also has to intern with the Karasuno volleyball team for three months.

Unfortunately,

she gets paired with Tsukishima Kei, the sharp-tongued guy in glasses.

Even though the photos have taken the internet by storm and everyone wants them to get married, they have a terrible relationship in private.

In front of the camera, they’re perfectly in sync, exchanging glances.

Behind the camera, they roll their eyes to the heavens and hurl insults without using a single swear word for three days straight. Nobody dares step in to break up the fight.

Manager: “For the movie, pretend you’re a couple!”

Iwakura Kiri points at Tsukishima Kei. “Me and him? A couple, acting lovey-dovey?”

“Urgh!”

They both gag in unison.
