The Gentle Movie Star and His Dark-Skinned Tour Guide

Gentle movie star gong x spirited photographer shou | A road trip that gets steamy [heart pounding] in progress

At a friend's request, Xiao Lang becomes a movie star's guide, driver, and travel companion for a month. In return, they split the gas and travel expenses.

When they first meet, the other man is pulling a suitcase and wearing a wide-brimmed baseball cap. Most of his face is covered, but what Xiao Lang can see is even more handsome than the face he has seen on the big screen.

But he doesn't talk much, and his smile is reserved. He's nothing like the graceful, eloquent man the media portrays. It's as if he has... a split personality.

Xiao Lang: Hello. I look forward to working with you over the next month.

Mu Lin: Have you signed the nondisclosure agreement?

Xiao Lang: Huh? Yeah, I'll keep everything confidential...

The moment Mu Lin saw Xiao Lang, all his reluctance to go on a trip to clear his head disappeared.

An athletic build, tanned skin, a sunny and cheerful personality, and even a fresh, energetic young man's voice just the way he liked it.

His agent really had carefully picked out a travel date for him!

Being in a pretend relationship with this person for a month under a confidentiality agreement should be pretty nice, right?

There was only one bed in the camper van, and Xiao Lang had no intention of giving it up, so he made up the sofa for Mu Lin.

But on the very first night, Mu Lin climbed into bed.

Xiao Lang: Huh?

Mu Lin: Since we're dating, shouldn't we be able to sleep together? I mean, just sleep under the same covers...

Xiao Lang was laughing in exasperation. He realized there must have been some misunderstanding, but couldn't be bothered to explain. They were both men, so sharing a bed wasn't a big deal... except it was!

The misunderstanding lasted for the whole month. Gentle advances met with half-hearted resistance, and they became accomplices in a tacit conspiracy.

They held hands at sunset, kissed when the moon rose, and took the luxury car out when night fell...

When the month was over, they parted, honoring an "agreement" that had never existed.

Mu Lin, dejected: Thanks for taking care of me this past month.

Xiao Lang, heartbroken: You really are a movie star. I almost believed it was real...

1v1, HE, with misunderstandings and romantic tension, but lots of sweetness
