The Allure of Farming [Modern Countryside]

Reclusive CEO Sheng Mu * Orchard Owner Su Xiayang

Su Xiayang decided to stop competing and go home to farm~

The city was packed with towering buildings and dazzling neon lights. He'd seen so much that his eyes were tired, and he couldn't stop thinking about his hometown's green grass and babbling brook.

Living away from home, eating instant noodles and takeout, he often thought of his mother's tomato and egg stir-fry. Even when buying mandarins for 50 yuan a jin, he missed the little oranges his father grew.

He was completely worn out. Time to go home and farm!

But he'd only been away for a year. Why had the grassland turned into a campground? And why was there a line of fully geared-up fishing enthusiasts beside the brook...?

Even the little house his family owned had been rented out and transformed into a sunset cafe?

A handsome man sat in the cafe that afternoon, leaning against a fabric sofa with a book in his hands. One finger rested against his forehead, and his long legs were crossed...

Su Xiayang: So elegant! Far too elegant?! Did I come back to the wrong village? No, this isn't a village. It's Paris Fashion Week!

As Su Xiayang peeked around, the man looked up and asked with a smile, "Who are you looking for?"

Su Xiayang: ...

He couldn't exactly say he was looking for his parents. That would make him seem like an orphan.

Sheng Mu saw the figure standing against the light, as warm and radiant as the summer sun...

Later, he learned the young man's name: Su Xiayang.
