I Know He's a Fox in Disguise!

Emperor Shang Jinyan of Great Yu was tyrannical, arbitrary, and arrogant. Under his rule, the court was so silent that everyone lived in fear.

An Zhishu never expected that, as soon as he arrived in the capital, he would face three disasters that would change his life.

Disaster One: The tyrant took a fancy to him and abducted him into the palace.

Disaster Two: The tyrant absolutely, positively, and utterly hated foxes.

Disaster Three: An Zhishu was a fox.

Just as An Zhishu was at a loss for what to do, the other foxes in his clan started arguing among themselves.

Second Uncle Fox wore a sinister expression. “This is a rare opportunity! Use it to seduce the tyrant and distract him from governing. When the realm falls into chaos, we can escape in the confusion!”

So An Zhishu took his advice.

In the middle of the night, wearing sheer gauze, he climbed into the tyrant’s bed and clumsily began undoing his clothes.

The tyrant, who had summoned him to his bed that very day, looked at him as if he’d seen a ghost, then quickly wrapped him up in the quilt like a burrito. “...What are you doing?”

An Zhishu stammered, “I’m going to seduce you.”

The tyrant: “Huh O.o?”

Big Brother Fox was especially worried. “Don’t trust that old geezer! Once you’re in the palace, protect yourself at all costs. Do your best to avoid the emperor’s favor, and wait for a chance to escape in one piece!”

So An Zhishu listened to him too.

The tyrant hated foxes... An Zhishu steeled himself and risked his life by showing his true form and parading around in front of him.

He’d run off after provoking the tyrant, and whenever he got caught, he’d yelp “Yip! Yip! Yip!” at him.

He used every possible way to express his anger.

But the tyrant who hated foxes picked him up with delight. “Fox, fox, little fox! I’m going to cuddle and sniff you like crazy!”

As An Zhishu watched things gradually veer off course despite all his efforts, one day at last

The tyrant took his hand and said with certainty, “You’re this infatuated with me?”

An Zhishu: ᴬo.oᴬ?

Before long, even his true form became the tyrant’s most beloved palace pet.

The country was fine, and so was he. In both human and fox form, he was second only to the emperor and above everyone else, enjoying every luxury and favor.

The little fox’s eyes slowly went blank. “...”

Did that count as completing the mission or not?

Maybe he should just run away after all?

More than half a year later, news arrived.

An Zhishu was pregnant.

Shang Jinyan: ?

Then came a second piece of news: his palace pet, an incredibly cute male red fox, was pregnant too.

Shang Jinyan: ??

The final piece of news followed right after.

An Zhishu had turned into a little red fox and run away with the cubs.

Shang Jinyan: Aaaaaah!!!!

The ministers rushed in to remonstrate in terror. “Your Majesty, the fox demon is bringing disaster upon the world! You must send troops to capture him at once, or the realm will fall into chaos!”

Shang Jinyan angrily pounded the table. “What’s wrong with foxes?! I’m a tyrant! I like foxes! I know he’s a fox! If you want to kill someone, kill me, but don’t touch my fox!”

Content warnings:

Jian Huaiyin hated Fu Yin more than anything.

He was always wandering around in a suit, stern and proper with everyone. Everyone thought he was one of the ten best seniors in the entertainment industry.

Only Jian Huaiyin knew

Fu Yin was a perverted creep who liked touching other people’s bare backs while saying, “You’re wearing so little, but you look great.”

By chance, they ended up in the same production. On screen, they were madly in love. Off screen, Jian Huaiyin gave Fu Yin a huge eye roll.

Fu Yin deftly put a little dress on him, dusted his cheeks with blush, and snapped a whole set of doll photos...

The man smiled with satisfaction.

“Baby, you’re so cute.”

Jian Huaiyin jolted awake, drenched in cold sweat.

What a bizarre nightmare!

Every night, Jian Huaiyin would find himself inside a different doll. Whenever he opened his eyes, he saw Fu Yin’s handsome face. Then the man would dress him in all kinds of outfits, pose him for ages, and leave him to fall asleep.

Finally, one day, he couldn’t take being fussed over anymore and barged into Fu Yin’s room.

The place was full of cotton dolls modeled after him...

Jian Huaiyin looked at Fu Yin without expression. “Can you destroy all of them?”

“No.”

Fu Yin took an exquisite little dress out of a box.

“Unless you wear it for me.”
