Master, Please Pay Attention to Me

A cool, beautiful, blind master and her loyal disciple, who has two very different sides.

Bai YuGuang thought he had always hated his master.

At eight years old, when he first entered the sect, he looked around the hall at the circle of imposing seats and immediately spotted Elder Wuchen at the very center.

Elder Wuchen, Nie Guyan, wore a luxurious coat trimmed with sable fur. A plain black silk cloth was wrapped over his eyes: he was blind.

Yet among the thousand new disciples, Nie Guyan's long finger pointed straight at him.

"I'll take this one."

The entire sect erupted.

Elder Wuchen, who had always been aloof and indifferent to worldly affairs, had actually taken the initiative to accept a disciple for the first time!

Bai YuGuang was delighted, too. He thought his good fortune had finally arrived.

But on the very first day he followed Nie Guyan back to Wuchen Hall, his master went into seclusion, where he stayed for several years.

For ten years, Bai YuGuang received almost no guidance or concern from his own master.

Because those ten years were wasted, his cultivation progressed extremely slowly, making him a laughingstock throughout the sect.

"So what if you became a disciple of the strongest elder, Wuchen? You're still as weak as a dog."

"I heard Elder Wuchen only agreed verbally to take him as a disciple. They never even signed a master-disciple contract, let alone held an initiation ceremony."

"What a waste. I heard he used to have excellent natural talent. If someone else had trained him earlier, he might have achieved something by now."

"Master, we haven't seen each other in ten years. Do you still remember your disciple?"

Bai YuGuang held his sword to Nie Guyan's chest, his expression unreadable.

"Or have you been thinking about my eldest senior brother, who's already dead? So much so that you completely forgot about the new disciple you took in?"
