Jujutsu Sorcerers Are Just Ridiculous

Main story complete!! I'll write a few extras (rubbing hands together) [Going premium on August 19. Chapters 27 to 36 will be behind the paywall retroactively. A 10,000-word update will drop on the day it goes premium.] [Here's a preview of The Cursed Can Also Get a HE, with the blurb at the bottom!] [Blurb] Wakatake Haruya had always thought that, ever since his cursed energy awakened, he was just a little wizard whose magic sometimes went haywire. That was why he occasionally caused a bit of wind, fire, or lightning by accident, or accidentally put a hole in a wall. He only reluctantly gave up his wizard identity when invited to enroll at Jujutsu High, but still sometimes tried casting Aloho○ra to test his magic (cursed) energy. He kept failing, but he kept trying. Then, suddenly, it worked. The drawer he'd specifically locked had opened. At the cost of half his desk being dismantled by cursed energy. Haha, how is that not opening? How is that not a huge success for Aloho○ra! Wakatake (stubbornly): ...Well, it did open! Geto: Calm down first. Don't open a hole in the dorm wall too. After that, he made mincemeat of the curses in battle, but his technique, [Elemental Control], didn't just wreak havoc on curses. It also disassembled forests, buildings, and mountains, and burned or scattered the pieces everywhere, leaving a total mess. Teacher Yaga (slightly exaggerating): Since it's called control, why not see if you can repair everything too? At this rate, your apology letters won't cover the damages, and your pay might get cut. After Wakatake Haruya nervously made the school pay for the damages several times, he finally learned a new skill to repair things after battle, just as Yaga was about to reveal the truth [that he didn't actually have to pay, and the teacher was only trying to draw out his potential]. The final results still weren't perfect, though. Wakatake: What do you think of the tree I fixed?! (Points to a giant, twisted tree trunk resembling a Serperior.) Gojo (taking a picture): Hahahaha! I think you'll have to spend your whole paycheck compensating people for the emotional trauma! Wakatake: Aaaaaah, nooooooo! Later, after Wakatake had mastered his skills, he could control all kinds of elements as easily as moving his own hands, and disassemble and reassemble things without a second thought. His control had become more precise, but he used it to do something outrageous. Ieiri (cigarette in mouth): They went and tore down the higher-ups' headquarters, then put up a huge, three-dimensional kuso there. Yaga (eyes shut): ...At least it's only the words. [Please note! This is fanfiction, so there's a ton of headcanon! There are plenty of jokes, and all the characters have been given a thick coat of rose-colored glasses! The author likes a lot of characters, so everyone gets the same treatment! (Holding a rose in my teeth)] [Everything in the story, reasonable or not, is made up! Don't take it seriously! For example, Megumi's mom's illness and the protagonist's technique are both fictional! (Waving hands frantically)] Preview: The Cursed Can Also Get a HE [Blurb] When a person dies, they're gone. That's common knowledge. She died, but she's still here. That's reality. Asahumi Shion failed for the fifth time to leave this forest. She lay down where she was, right beside her own body. She couldn't help sighing. Good thing she was a ghost now, or she'd have worn herself out for nothing. She'd only come to do a social survey, then accidentally fallen off a cliff. Her body was still in decent shape (thumbs-up). It was just that her soul had slipped out and fused with something deep in the forest, leaving her all weird. It seemed like she was always feeling some sort of hostility toward humans. What the heck? She was human herself! She sat there in a daze. After another sunrise, she heard the voice of a boy. No, children shouldn't come to a place like this. Asahumi Shion went out and tried tugging the sleeves of the two boys from behind. She hadn't been able to touch anything before. But this time, she could. At the same time, the two boys turned to look at her with strange expressions. “Eek! Sorry, did I scare you?” Asahumi Shion hurriedly apologized. She didn't stop to wonder why the boys could see her. “It's dangerous in there. Don't go in.” The white-haired boy looked even stranger, his mouth twitching. “You're the most dangerous thing in this forest.” “Don't be like that, Gojo,” said the black-haired boy. “It's making an honest effort to lie. Just play along.” “How rude! Why are you calling me ‘it’?” Asahumi Shion let go and folded her arms, glaring at the high schoolers in front of her. “I'm human...” “Are you?” The white-haired boy reached through the hollow in her abdomen. “Since when did curses start lying to our faces?” “Huh?” Asahumi Shion followed his arm with her eyes. Oh nooooo, she'd forgotten about that!! Where was her brain? Brain, get out here and explain this!! You're usually useless, but you have to come through now, brain!! “It's, um, one of those... that 3D projection thing. I'm a projection!” “Yeah, right. You were just tugging on my clothes.” [This is fanfiction with a mountain of headcanon, so please don't take it too seriously!] Theme: Taking positive action is how you build a better future
