I'm Really Just a Background NPC

Blurb:

Luo Shu is an ordinary girl who lives with her mother in Qingshui Town. She's always heard that martial arts and the jianghu exist, but has never seen them for herself.

Until one day, an jianghu sect called the Red Star Sect suddenly appeared in town. A group of Red Star Sect disciples dressed in rough clothes, acting strangely and looking deranged, began building things, repairing roads, and opening a private school on the mountainside and in the town...

The iron coins they paid for work at the Red Star Sect could be exchanged for all kinds of food and fun things. Luo Shu followed the sect out of the mountains, and the sect leader appointed her as their "mascot." Every day, her job was to eat for free and pretend to patrol.

She learned martial arts, fought in tournaments, and climbed the Heroes Ranking of the Great Martial Arts Gathering. The world outside was a wonderful place.

The only thing that troubled Luo Shu was that her fellow disciples, whose names were all bizarre, were so eccentric and notorious that when she tried to contribute to the sect by challenging a hero to a friendly match, her opponent would kneel down and surrender as soon as the fight began.

Then one day

Some strange little boxes suddenly appeared before Luo Shu's eyes, displaying peculiar text with missing strokes.

[Breaking news!!! The mascot took one step today, and the Demon Sect's Holy Son immediately fell to his knees!]

[Just what level of hidden NPC is Book Sis, anyway?!]

[Isn't Luo Shu obviously the most promising NPC in The Gallant Adventurer? A peerless genius! Terrifyingly powerful!]

[The mascot took one lap around the sect grounds, and that little upstart from a minor clan, swaggering around with his domineering aura on full display, immediately bowed down to her!]

Luo Shu tilted her head. Huh? What? Is this... about me?

But I really didn't do anything?
