You are a tentacle.
You are an inconspicuous member of the tentacle clan in one of the small worlds within the Infinite Worlds. You all share the same mother.
Fresh meat arrives in the small world every day. Your relatives like to swallow it whole and send the nutrients to your mother.
You tried human blood once and could only say: Blegh! Ugh
You think human flesh reeks and is impossible to swallow. Every day, you steal your mother's power to survive. To keep her from noticing, you steal only a tiny bit each time, and go hungry until your head spins.
The small world has fresh meat in stock again. Humans known as mission takers scream and wail amid the writhing tentacles, like music in a paradise. Bright red flesh splits open, white bones snap, and scalding blood flows through the pitch-black passageway, its lakeshore hue glimmering in the moonlight...
At the sound of the screams, the mass of tentacles surges, sweeping up the blood on the ground, the broken bones in the corners, and the scraps of flesh on the walls.
You find your relatives' feral-dog behavior disgusting. Hiding in the shadows, too weak from hunger to move, you steal another mouthful of nutrients from your excited mother.
Suddenly, a raging fire descends from the sky. Your mother's furious roar sounds like ten thousand humans screaming.
She sends out hundreds and thousands of tentacles. Your relatives writhe in the flames, howling and attacking wildly.
You hide even deeper and seize the chance to steal a huge mouthful of nutrients from your mother.
Your relatives die in the fire.
Your mother dies in the fire.
You become a lonely tentacle, trembling in the shadows.
A human finds you.
A very beautiful human woman.
She killed your mother and burned your relatives to death.
She plucks you out of the shadows and feeds you a mouthful of blood.
Her blood is delicious!
For the first time, you feel full.
You lust after this human. You want to eat her.
You keep following her.
One day, she kisses you.
You turn pink.
You become a little tentacle with a family again.
