My Master's Beauty Is a Feast for the Eyes

Immortal Venerable Yuling was cold in both face and heart, an unmatched genius in the cultivation world. She reached Foundation Establishment in three years, the Golden Core stage in ten, and Nascent Soul in a hundred. She lived year-round on Jueling Peak, and outsiders had only heard her name, never seen her.

Until Immortal Venerable Yuling personally brought home a little disciple, raised her at her side, and taught her herself, naming her Ming Chen.

A hundred years later, Ming Chen made a name for herself throughout the land by cleaving a thousand mountains with a single sword. Along with her fame came a wedding invitation.

The sun rose in the east, its rosy light stretching for miles.

Three-year-old Ming Chen sat on a stone stool, writing in her diary.

A black blob, then another black blob. Yuling, who had been fanning herself beside her, finished dozing, and her little disciple's black blobs had already become a round face.

“What are you writing?” Yuling asked.

Hugging the sheet of paper covered in black blobs, her disciple chirped, “Master is pretty!”

What was that word again? Three-year-old Ming Chen thought hard, then had a flash of inspiration. “Good enough to eat!”

Yuling chuckled and, holding the little chubby hand, wrote: “So beautiful she could be eaten. Ming Chen is hungry and wants food.”

Twenty years later.

The little disciple had grown into an adult disciple, graceful and lovely, practicing her calligraphy with a brush.

Yuling, sitting beside her, woke up and smiled. “What are you writing?”

Ming Chen: “Master is pretty.”

Ming Chen took her master's hand and wrote on the paper: “Master is so beautiful she could be eaten. Your disciple is quite hungry.”

“May Master take pity on me and let me have my heart's desire.”

No romance before adulthood. A growing-up story.
