After the Gloomy Alpha Grows Up

The commander of Blue Star's Seventh District was a ruthless, long-haired beauty and a beta.

Shen Xing was perfect in every way, except that his eyes couldn't tolerate light. He kept them covered with a headband every day.

When the Seventh District became independent, he adopted the posthumous son of the former commander.

Gu Ye was a well-behaved boy. Shen Xing trained him and guided him through his first presentation, hoping to mold him into a capable successor. But he neglected the psychological guidance a young alpha needed.

After discovering that his older brother had hidden his omega identity, the little alpha gradually went astray.

Then one day, he noticed medicinal powder floating in his milk and finally realized how serious things had become.

Gu Ye carried in a tray and said obediently, “Big Brother, I've warmed your milk for tonight.”

Shen Xing stared at him. “Put it down. Come have dinner with me this weekend.”

“Sure. Where are we going?”

“To meet my boyfriend.”

The delight vanished from the boy's face, replaced by gathering storm clouds.

Shen Xing thought having a subordinate pretend to be his boyfriend would put an end to Gu Ye's delusions.

But half a month later, the subordinate was in a serious car accident.

In the pouring rain, Shen Xing slapped Gu Ye and told him to get back to the Fifth District.

Gu Ye wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and sneered. “You're making me leave because of him? You'll regret this.”

“Get out.” Shen Xing had reached the end of his patience. “I never want to see you again.”

The alpha's eyes filled with viciousness. Tears in his eyes, he stormed away.

Five years later, a lightning storm struck, an experimental subject escaped, and infected creatures broke out on a massive scale.

With no other choice, the Seventh District formed an alliance with the Fifth District.

The young marshal, Gu Ye, was ordered to come. Once again, he stood before Shen Xing.

The alpha had fully presented. His face was mature and handsome, and his pheromones made people's legs weak.

Shen Xing thought he had grown up and didn't take many precautions.

On the night of the victory banquet, chains rattled in the dark bedroom.

Dazed, Shen Xing reached out, only to have both wrists locked in shackles and fastened to the headboard.

Gu Ye pressed himself against the gland he had longed for and chuckled darkly. “Big Brother is a beta. I can bite you without making you pregnant, right?”

Shen Xing's voice trembled. “Go ahead and try. I'll make sure you die horribly.”

“Still so fierce. What should I do? I like you even more.”

“Did you release the infected creatures?!”

“If I hadn't released them, how else would I have gotten to see you?”

Shen Xing closed his eyes briefly and asked, “How did you end up like this? What did I ever do to wrong you?”

Gu Ye's eyes were filled with madness and possessiveness. “You cheated on me! How is that not wronging me? You've got another subordinate now, too. Don't worry, this time he won't live to see tomorrow.”
