After Writing a Hundred Love Rivals to Their Deaths

Battle-ready, cool-guy dad-type top x cold-blooded beauty bottom with every buff stacked on him

The first volume of I Raise the Immortal to the Heavens is complete.

Author's note: Thank you all for staying with me for almost a year. To answer everyone at once: there is no canon pairing. I won't allow Shen Fengmian to fall in love. (From The Nesting Bird)

Zhu Chao is a bestselling author who wrote the hit novel I Lift the Immortal to the Heavens. Its male lead, Shen Fengmian, is so beautiful he bullies the Three Realms.

Zhu Chao is Shen Fengmian's number-one fan.

He watched the beauty grow from a gifted little bundle of joy, and as a doting fan, he absolutely refused to let him have any romantic pairings. Whenever readers shipped him with someone, Zhu Chao killed that character off.

After killing off his hundredth love rival, he transmigrated into the book.

With him came a golden finger: he could alter the plot three times a day.

Heh heh :D

Day one: Beat up the villain, mend his spiritual roots, steal a kiss from Shen Fengmian.

Day two: Subdue a disciple, beat up a love rival, steal a kiss from Shen Fengmian.

Day three: XXXX, XXXX, steal a kiss from Shen Fengmian...

Shen Fengmian was muttering something incomprehensible. Didn't matter. He wanted to kiss him.

After all that, he successfully won the beauty's heart, then triggered the doomsday System he had set up: anyone who had touched Shen Fengmian had to die.

The System rained down thunderbolts and chased him, striking him all the way.

Zhu Chao: What the hell, you stupid piece of shit! Why the fuck are you chasing your daddy?!

[Bonus Scene]

Back when he wanted Shen Fengmian to abandon love and desire, Zhu Chao had stacked buffs like [Cold-Blooded], [Ruthless Dao], and [Abstinence Rules] on him.

After their marriage, he wept big, fat tears. "Honey, look at me. Could you put away that heartless sword of yours? Q A Q"

Shen Fengmian stabbed him in the groin with his sword and said elegantly, "If you dare get up again during my cultivation period, I'll cut it off."

"..."

(The author doesn't want to get involved with obsessive fans. The POV is for writing purposes; the top has the bottom as his dream man, and they are both head over heels for each other. Extreme fans of either the top or the bottom, please don't open this story. Any insults will bounce right back.)

(Romance-focused wish-fulfillment story, short novel.)
