After Cosplaying Dazai and Chuuya, I Got Bound to a Live Comment Feed

Cover commissioned privately; replace before posting

[Blurb is provisional]

It all started after I finished watching "Bungo Stray Dogs." My bored-out-of-his-skull buddy insisted on cosplaying Zombie Dazai and making me cosplay Zombie Chuuya so we could go to a convention together.

Then, as you might expect, we got transported into the series.

The bad news: We ran into the real deal and were forced to bind to a System that displays live comments.

The good news: We got the same abilities as our originals, so at least we don't have to worry about our lives.

The problem is, unless the story reaches its finale, like a season of anime, we'll keep getting transported over and over. So...

The first time we cosplayed our way into the story and met the originals:

[Oh my god?! It's the Bungo Stray Dogs remake! Aren't those the SSR Zombie Dazai and Chuuya from Mystery Dogs?]

[Look! That's sixteen-year-old Dazai and Chuuya! So handsome!]

[Wait... why are there two Soukokus?]

Later:

[Am I the only one who thinks Zombie Soukoku's relationship is kind of weird???]

[I noticed too... but who cares? Saving the Flags is good civilization. My adorable baby Chuuya, all your friends survived this time!]

[They took a perfectly good plot and turned it into ship-teasing. This remake is really messing things up, huh?]

[Kick the people who don't like it out of the comments!]

The second time we cosplayed our way in and met the originals:

[This outfit, this look, no doubt about it! It's the tenth-anniversary matching couple's outfits, ahhhhh!]

The third cosplay trip...

The fourth...

Me: I must have murdered and pillaged in my past life to end up cosplaying in front of the real deal in this one.

Buddy: Hehehe, this is fun!

(From the original Dazai's perspective)

At some point, Dazai had gotten used to seeing himself and Chuuya from parallel worlds.

From being at a loss at first to taking it all in stride.

From staring blankly at the discovery to eventually keeping quiet.

He watched the relationship between himself and Chuuya in those parallel worlds, then looked at the Chuuya beside him, who had no idea what was going on.

Dazai: What a dense little puppy. Oh well...

You lose something whenever you gain something, so Dazai never sought to take their relationship further.

He thought that was enough, until he met the pair from an ABO world.

In a dark alley, Dazai saw 'him,' an Enigma, pinning 'Chuuya,' an Alpha, against the wall and biting his neck to mark him.

Just then, he saw another version of himself silently lift his eyes to meet his...

At that moment, meeting those brown eyes so like his own, he felt a jealousy unlike anything he'd ever experienced.

Dazai watched the two of them with a dark look.

Why could they have this, while he couldn't...?

At the same time, the comments were flooding in.

[This, right here, is the Goddess of Fate's grand banquet!]

[The ABO setting is so good! When I first found out they were both Alphas, I was wondering what they'd do. I didn't expect this Dazai to actually be an Enigma... Holy crap, isn't that the other Dazai? They just made eye contact?]

[Enigma Dazai definitely did that on purpose! Look at the way he's staring at the other Dazai... that's pure jealousy! Hurry up and grab your Chuuya and take a bite!]

[I'm dying. Just thinking about how there's also a Boss Dazai next door secretly peeking at the screen with the exact same jealous look... hehehe.]

Watching the comments, I pinched my buddy's side and whispered, "Are you done yet?! Are you going to keep biting him forever?!"

My buddy lifted his head from Chuuya's neck. "You're such an unromantic little puppy..."
