Xie Weiji met someone on the app Wu Ju. They were the same age, and gradually grew close.

Just as its name suggests, Wu Ju only lets you send five messages a day.

The chatty Xie Weiji edits each message right up to the character limit before sending it, while the other person is often cold and brief: "6," "Sure," "Mm."
