Studying Medicine Can't Save the Rich and Famous

(The cover looks a little delicate, but it really is beautiful. I'll change it when I find something more suitable.)

"If you can't save the Third Prince, you'll all be buried with him!"

To avoid being buried alive, the Imperial Medical Academy worked itself to the bone. After poring over medical texts for two days and nights straight, Shi Miao collapsed face-first onto his desk.

When he opened his eyes again, the Third Prince was standing right in front of him.

Though blood stained the corner of his mouth, he looked healthy. He was alive.

Alive!

Overjoyed, Shi Miao instinctively took the Third Prince's hand and checked his pulse to make sure he was well.

His pulse was steady and healthy. Shi Miao looked up in delight, ready to congratulate the prince, but a crowd surged around them and he was roughly dragged away.

"What the hell? Where'd this random fan come from? Security, security!"

Shi Miao was bewildered. Then he noticed that everyone around him was dressed and speaking in unfamiliar ways.

Looking at the Third Prince, the only other person dressed like him, Shi Miao forced himself to stay calm. "Your Highness, are you planning to have this many people buried with you?"

Kuang Yi had just wrapped filming a period drama when a minor celebrity tried to use him for publicity. An intimate photo of the two of them gazing into each other's eyes with tears in their own unexpectedly leaked.

He was asked to play along with the other celebrity, but the man didn't even seem to know how to act.

Kuang Yi gently stroked his hair. Shi Miao jumped three feet in the air. "Aaaah! Your Highness, please behave yourself!"

Kuang Yi reached out to hold his hand. Shi Miao immediately reached out with both hands and felt his wrist. "Your Highness's pulse is healthy today, too!"

Kuang Yi: "..."

Playing along? Not a chance.

Their attempts to play it up were full of obvious holes, and the fans treated it all as a joke.

But the more they watched, the more something seemed off.

Why were these two checking each other's pulses eight hundred times a day? Was it really a pulse check, or were they holding hands on company time?!

The story may be adjusted before it begins, but the central plot about an imperial physician who transmigrates will stay the same.

Theme: Stay true to yourself, and never yield, even in the face of death.
