Justice in Action

"He wanted to hide away with you in a place without light."

Go! Go! Superman is a single-player role-playing game. Players take on the role of "Superman," the protagonist in different worldlines, complete story missions, and achieve dungeon objectives to beat the game.

A new player quickly became hooked, but soon discovered the game's interference mechanic. Whenever a dungeon reached a certain point, a mysterious NPC, "■■■," who wasn't part of the main story, would suddenly appear to disrupt progress, kill characters, and ruin the experience. The guy even looked exactly like the fixed character "Batman" in the dungeon, making him impossible to guard against.

Even the player's steadily growing affection for the fixed NPC "Batman" couldn't stop them from angrily reporting this bug to the game developers.

Customer service: Dear player, being hunted by "Batman" is part of the gaming experience.

Harassed player aka Superman: Damn it!

1. My take on Batman/Superman, an extremely out-of-character, corrupted ship. Settings from different versions are mixed together.

2. Started writing on a whim with no outline. Just making stuff up as I go.

Theme: Explore another possibility for the world.
