Sezhu Immortal was very pleased with this young man, so he told him: "Lotus King! I am very knowledgeable about all calendars, astronomy, causes and conditions, and even the principles of the operation of the entire universe, Yin Yang and the Five Elements. I have all these knowledge."
Therefore, Prince Lotus planned to invite Sezhu Immortal to be his teacher and learn these siddhi achievements of worldly wisdom. Therefore, he presented considerable wealth as a gift of apprenticeship, and then followed Sezhu Immortal to learn all the karma, calendar, astronomy, geography, and the science of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements.
Sezhu Immortal taught Prince Lotus to learn the calculation of karma and fate. First, he introduced the operation of the entire universe and celestial bodies, starting with the twelve branches.
When teaching the calendar calculation of the twelve zodiac signs, Sezhu Immortal taught the Lotus King: "The universe and the earth are formed by the combination of the power of yin and yang. If we take the earth as the negative power and the sky as the masculine power, then we can understand that because of the blessing of the gods, the mother of the earth, the two meet and the yin and yang merge. , And opened up all the phenomena of the universe such as chaotic time. All of this can be observed through the twelve branches of dependent origin and understood in conjunction with the nature of the twelve elephant-shaped animals. The initial ignorance of chaos started in the Year of the Rat, and the entire wheel of time was rotated;
Intention: Lotus King! The emergence of these twelve zodiac animals actually have extremely deep causes and conditions. The "Dafang et al. Collection Sutra" tells us that if we observe the world well, we will find that outside the Jambudvipa in our Saha world, there is a glazed mountain in the southern sea, called Chaoshan, which is about thousands of meters high and contains various wonderful treasures.
