After Prince Padmasambhava learned the medical principles from Dr. Jibapudara, he began another journey of learning and practice. He is like a boy who is good at making money, studying everywhere. At this time, he came to Rangala, India, where he met a famous linguistic expert named Azaya.
This linguist's hair has turned white, but his appearance makes people feel very solemn and sanctimonious. Prince Lotus came to the wise elder and asked him humbly: "Excuse me, good teacher, what kind of wisdom and expertise do you have?"
The wise scholar Azaya looked at the young scholar fearlessly and said in a clear voice: "O this solemn young man! I can tell you that I am completely qualified in the language statement knowledge. There should be no one in this world who can match it. I may not understand other knowledge, but I have understood the true meaning and nature of all languages."
Hearing these words in the ears of Prince Lotus, who was eager to pray for the five enlightenments of the Bodhisattva, was filled with unspeakable joy. He immediately asked the good friend Azaya: "Good friend! Please teach me this unparalleled statement, the knowledge of language, and the true meaning and nature of all languages! I want to learn the ultimate meaning of all languages from you, and hope to be able to educate all sentient beings with the language skills and the deepest principles." After saying this, he prayed to the good teacher Azaya and made the most extraordinary offerings.
Purpose: Padmasambhava studied the Five Mings of Buddhism diligently and became erudite and knowledgeable.
