In the land of Bohe, there is a corpse forest. In this corpse forest, the corpses of many living beings are gathered. It is an extremely large cemetery with a radius of sixty miles.
One day, Bhikkhu Sakyamuni paid his respects to Venerable Ananda, who had peacefully passed away and entered samadhi. He walked on the human world to practice Buddhism and came to the corpse forest in the country of Bukhe.
In the middle of this corpse forest called Guna Sutra, there is a tower called Riwudala. This tower is built of pure precious stones, pearls and colored glaze. There are various kinds of Mani orbs hidden inside this pagoda, and outside this big pagoda, there are various dragon and heavenly protectors and dakinis guarding it. Next to this big pagoda, there lived a female Rakshasa named Zirema. She manifested terrifying worldly activities and possessed great power.
To the east of the Corpse Grove there is a big tree called the Chuli Tree. In this big tree live various large birds that feed on the carrion in the cemetery. In addition, there also lives in the tree a mountain god who possesses various magical powers of transformation. This mountain god has great transformation abilities. He can turn a beautiful woman into a dog, turn stones and wood into skeletons, change the positions of the sun and moon at will, and turn a wet body into a mummy in the blink of an eye. This charnel ground is an unpredictable, terrifying and incredibly powerful place.
