In this place, which appears as Mount Wutai on the outside but is actually a pure holy land on the inside, Manjusri Bodhisattva, the Lord of all wisdom, appears and teaches in this mountain. Manjushri Bodhisattva, with his whole body covered with golden light, appeared perfectly from the inanimate Dharma Realm according to the wisdom of all Buddhas. He played freely in the pure world sea of lotus garden, teaching and transforming all living beings, and used Mount Wutai as the fundamental place for teaching according to circumstances.
He possesses all purity and is unstained by all worldly filth. He raised the sword of wisdom in his right hand, and held the classics representing all wisdom in his left hand, and combed out the Ubala flower with wisdom and purity; his topknot glowed with indigo light, flashing like a rainbow; his whole body disappeared freely in the rainbow light.
After observing the causes and conditions in the Han region, the wise lord Manjushri Bodhisattva realized that he must use the stars and divination of conventional truth as the method of dependent origination to educate all living beings here. Therefore, here, he made all astronomy, Yi Shu, and even all kinds of arithmetic and mathematics flow out perfectly from his pure heart.
