After setting up the formal mandala, Prince Padmasambhava began to meditate on the Vajra Realm.
The Lotus Prince's thoughts: The Vajra Realm is based on the "Five Phases of the Body" as the basic meditation view. This is also the esoteric practice of all generation-stage deity yoga. All practitioners must understand this view in order to complete the practice of deity yoga.
The Five-Phase Body Formation View is basically an important view and practice to transform the ordinary body into the Vajra Buddha body, but this view and practice needs to be born from the pure Buddha seed-Bodhicitta. Bodhicitta encompasses the two meanings of compassion and wisdom. It is born from the bodhicitta of compassion and wisdom, and can finally be completely transformed from the heart to the body to achieve the Buddha body.
Prince Padmasambhava has truly understood these five phases, that is, from attaining Bodhi, practicing Bodhicitta, attaining Vajra Mind, attaining Vajra Body, and finally completing the Buddha body. These five stages are the five phases that should be possessed to achieve the wonderful body of the deity.
The Prince of Padmasambhava will have achieved complete mastery after practicing the order of rational thinking, and before entering the altar through meditation, he will first purify his body, speech, and mind. When entering the altar, Prince Lotus Flower presented his body, speech, and mind with pure motivation to make offerings to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas; he also bowed to the Three Jewels of the Ten Directions and began to practice the Dharma.
Prince Lotus first purified the earth. He put his hands together in Vajra and recited the mantra of the pure land:
Luo Ru, Bo Chuduo, Sarchi Damo
Intention: Prince Lotus has infinite compassion for all sentient beings. In an instant, he possesses the four immeasurable thoughts of kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity.
