As time flies, Prince Lotus comes to this world, and the cause and destiny of saving all sentient beings gradually matures. Therefore, there are constant auspicious displays of auspiciousness. Prince Lotus was also in these illusory realms, and he often vaguely saw the shadow of the Buddha appearing before his eyes. The karmic time for the Buddha's call to accept has come. Under the guidance of the four mighty men, Prince Padmasambhava visited the most sacred places where the Buddha's karma was related to his birth life to strengthen his supreme bodhicitta.
Prince Padmasambhava visited the large pagoda four or five miles east of the city of Vagarali. This large pagoda has many spiritual and auspicious features. It is the place where the Buddha's limbs were cut off one by one by King Kali when he was a sage who endured humiliation.
In his illusory vision, Prince Padmasambhava seemed to see the image of the Buddha in his past life as a forbearing sage:
King Kali, who had a violent and arrogant temperament, was leading many concubines and subjects on a trip to the mountains. The king fell asleep due to fatigue on the way, so the queen and other concubines went into the mountains and forests to enjoy flowers. They came to the place where the Immortal Patriarch practiced meditation and listened to his sermons.
When King Kali woke up, he found that the queen and the maids were missing, so he looked around. Only then did he see the queen and the maids listening to the sermon around the Immortal. Out of jealousy, the king ordered the Immortal's ears to be cut off, but the Immortal's face remained unchanged. The king became even more angry, so he cut off his nose, hands, feet, limbs, etc., And dismembered him piece by piece, but the heart of the Immortal Patient remained unmoved.
Intention: Padmasambhava is the reincarnation of Sakyamuni Buddha. He practiced great practice before and will become successful very quickly in this life.
