As they approached the island, the yellow geese on the island chirped in unison, as if to welcome them. When I arrived at the big lotus, I saw a little child who looked like an eight-year-old child in the lotus stamen. This little child had all the appearances, was in good health, and had a solemn brilliance on his face. His complexion was like a conch with a pure and wonderful color. It was crystal clear and sparkling, shining brightly under the sunlight.
At this time, the king was very surprised and said: "It's so wonderful, it's incredible!" So he asked the child: "This child of Qizhu Sheng! Who is your father? And who is your mother? Where are you from? What caste do you belong to? What do you rely on to make a living in this lotus stamen? And what do you do every day?"
The child replied: "The wisdom of Vidajādhi is my father, and the emptiness of the present is my mother; my hometown is in the inanimate Dharma Realm, my surname is the special caste in which Vidajādhi and Dharma Realm are one, and the food I eat every day is the wisdom of the two kinds of manifestation and enlightenment; what I do here every day is to eliminate the troubles and thieves in my heart."
