The Asylum Director Has Gone Mad!

Xu Zhiwei was kept in a psychiatric hospital by his mother for three years. In the first year, they drugged him and locked him in solitary confinement. In the second, they strapped him into an electric chair. In the third, he fought with the medical staff. In the fourth, he ended up at a crematorium.

Before he died, he planned to take his mother down with him. But when he drew his knife, his hand slipped, and he stabbed himself in the heart instead.

Fortunately, he had astonishing luck. When he opened his eyes again, he discovered that he had inherited that old psychiatric hospital. The strange patients locked in their rooms, taking pills and playing with electricity, were the very doctors who had tormented him.

Wonderful, just wonderful. For the long-term development of the hospital, Xu Zhiwei launched sweeping reforms. He not only set up systems for external outreach and internal referrals, but also added a gigantic incinerator.

The incinerator used cutting-edge technology and radiated an aura of advanced science from every inch of its exterior. To prevent corruption, it also operated with complete transparency across every department.

An entire wall of livestreaming equipment was set up in front of the incinerator.

"Livestreamed cremation, guaranteed spotless, without a single relic left behind. Bring your family here for a day trip, folks!"

"The intensity of the flames depends on your tips. The bigger the tip, the more advanced and hotter the fire. Show us your enthusiasm!"

Those two slogans were posted on the wall behind the incinerator.

In the year 4444, the uncanny descended, and the world was shrouded in miasma. Countless evil entities became creatures found everywhere in this world, just as humans once had been.

After humanity's towers were built, however, someone discovered a human-run psychiatric hospital in a vast contaminated region.

The hospital not only offered to contain evil entities, but also produced items capable of countering them. What's more, its strong, kind, beautiful, intelligent (and not the least bit crazy) director would livestream the cremation of evil entities from time to time. The more the viewers tipped, the more enthusiastically the director burned them.
