After Becoming My Favorite's Dog

Oaths made on a whim always come true someday. Yuquan, an otaku, learned this from personal experience.

After repeatedly spending all his money on merch, Yuquan swore to the heavens, "If I buy merch again, I'll be a dog!"

But every new piece of merch was more gorgeous than the last. Overcome by his favorite character's beauty, he placed another order in a burst of enthusiasm!

The bad news: the curse came true, and he turned into a dog. The good news: he became his favorite character's dog!

"I really am your dog!"

In broad daylight, a white-haired boy dropped to his knees and clung tightly to another boy with similar features and black hair, declaring through tears something that left everyone stunned.

Fushiguro Megumi: ...

The peanut gallery, Itadori and Kugisaki: Wow, Fushiguro, you really go all out.

Fushiguro Megumi: There's a pervert here.

The Six Eyes: How strange. Megumi, he really is your dog.

Yuquan, looking innocent: Does that mean Megumi... has another dog?

[Please Note]

/Fushiguro Megumi pairing. Pure love!

/He really does turn into a dog, but it's actually an ability he awakened after becoming a Special Grade Curse. He can possess just about anything. (He'll return to his own body later.)

/The protagonist's ability is Schrödinger's: it can be incredibly powerful or completely useless. But he really is as obedient as a shikigami.

/Actually, the protagonist was born in this world. He simply awakened to his own awareness and saw a lot of things he shouldn't have. To fool him, the world's consciousness gave him the illusion that "everything you see is just a story."

/Jujutsu Kaisen solo fanfic, short story
