I Inherited a Hundred-Billion-Yuan Company After Getting Fired?!

Office worker Xuanyuan Qing refuses to put up with the real estate company's 996 schedule, alternate six-day workweeks, drinking culture, shady workplace rules, empty promises, and PUA. Her boss tells her, "If you can't hack it, get out!"

Xuanyuan Qing leaves, then inherits a real estate company worth tens of billions and comes back?!

Before: She bowed and scraped to greet her bosses, and had to swallow every insult.

Now: Her former bosses bow and scrape to flatter her. They even praise her for not working overtime as if it's the greatest virtue in the world!

Before: Executives earn a million a year. The grunts get five thousand a month.

Now: Xuanyuan Qing waves a hand. "Grunts, I've fired all the former executives. Everyone gets a million a year, plus a house as an annual bonus!"

We sell homes honestly and never lie. Anyone who works overtime gets fired!

With more money than she can spend, Xuanyuan Qing decides to buy an entertainment company and make movies for fun.

Her first move as company boss: What? The artists are using drugs, getting involved with minors, hiding income through shady contracts, and dodging taxes? The whole lot are lawbreakers?

Every single artist at the company is fired, and the boss sends them all off in handcuffs.

Everyone: ???

Xuanyuan Qing: "I grew up under the red flag. I've followed the law since I was a kid."

She hires new talent, giving priority to people with good acting skills, good character, and top marks in civics who can recite the Eight Honors and Eight Shames. No shady rules or drinking parties at this company. Anyone who gets in through connections is fired!

At first, all the capitalists laugh at the nouveau riche Xuanyuan Qing, convinced she'll go bankrupt. But they wait and wait, only to watch her build up more and more companies, from real estate and supermarket chains to becoming the biggest player in the entertainment industry. She's got it all?!

Later, the media interview Xuanyuan Qing, the richest person in the world, about the secret to her success.

Xuanyuan Qing scratches her head. "Honestly, I haven't done much. I just follow the law, don't work overtime, pay good salaries, and avoid pointless meetings!"
