Chinese Sword Cultivators Take the World by Storm (The Nineties)

After a mishap while refining pills caused her furnace to explode, Jin Xiaoqin, a Golden Core cultivator, was transported to the modern world. She discovered that the spiritual energy on the Chinese mainland had been completely used up because generations of cultivators had been so competitive. With no other choice, she studied English and sought a new path to cultivation abroad.

Before leaving the country, Jin Xiaoqin worried: I'm only a little Golden Core cultivator. Will high-level sword cultivators overseas beat me up? Trembling.jpg

After leaving the country: What? There's so much spiritual energy here, and they don't even know fortune-telling, drawing talismans, or cultivation? Watch me crush these amateurs!

At first, foreigners assumed Jin Xiaoqin was just an ordinary international student from China. Then...

Waaah, I'll never discriminate against Chinese people again! Please, Immortal, remove this curse!

It's not a curse, it's a Daoist talisman! A talisman!

Please, Immortal, teach me those hand seals. I want to cultivate immortality!

...I was just making a string figure, okay?

How should Daoists pray? Do we say "Amen" to the Jade Emperor?

...Our Daoism is all about going with the flow. We believe in any god who can help, and pray when we need something.

Jin Xiaoqin only wanted to sell braised pig trotters abroad, make a little money, and focus on cultivating. She never expected to become inexplicably famous around the world and gain a horde of immortal-cultivation followers. Every day, her followers struggled to study Chinese and memorize incantations, then started asking their Chinese friends:

Guys, how do I successfully refine pills?

Please ship me a huge supply of cinnabar and talisman paper! My Five-Thunder Talisman is almost ready!

Chinese people, do you all know fortune-telling? I'll pay tuition to learn face-reading and how to choose an auspicious day!

The Chinese people: Hahaha, which international student tricked them into believing this? Believe in science, and don't spread rumors!

Later, they saw Jin Xiaoqin teaching sword flight.

??? So Daoist cultivation really is an ancestral Chinese art?!!
