[Honkai: Star Rail] If We Are Destined to Fall into the Deep Sea

The story of irritable working girl Ke Fu (not really) and her boss.

* Aventurine pairing.

* Set after the Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 storyline, so some plot details are original.

* Characters may be out of character.

* Future plotlines will depend on inspiration.

When her sixteenth birthday arrived, Ke Fu made a wish for her future. At the same time, she lost the two people who loved her most.

The bewildered Ke Fu had thought she would spend her whole life by the sea in her hometown, and eventually sink into the deep.

That changed when a ship arrived from the vast universe. There, Ke Fu met Aventurine for the first time.

On the day she left the Interastral Peace Corporation, Ke Fu sat alone by the sea, and Aventurine reached out his hand to her.

"Liratz's sea will be preserved, but there are many other seas throughout the universe. Would you like to go see them?"

In Aventurine's eyes, she saw another possibility for her future.

My next novel will also be set in Honkai: Star Rail. It's called "May the Journey Never Be Smooth", with Aventurine as the love interest. You can find it below this book's blurb, please add it to your favorites!

Deng Miao couldn't count the number of times she'd thought she and that corporate executive were simply incompatible.

Whenever she played a game, seeing him meant losing her pity guarantee. She'd be looking at scenery when she heard his voice, and the food in her hand would inexplicably get knocked over.

Even when she was just wandering around minding her own business, she'd get hit by something thrown from above out of nowhere as soon as she saw him.

...Thinking back to the conversations she'd overheard in the tavern, she suddenly understood why Sparkle had been so determined to recruit him.

When every encounter leads to something entirely unexpected, how could that not be a kind of elation?

After the Penacony affair ended, she went to a new planet. Once again, she saw that familiar name on the guest list.

Pointing at the name, she promptly said she wanted to meet him.

"I want to see just how unlucky I can get this time." That's what Deng Miao said when her friend looked puzzled.

If the journey were too smooth, where would the fun be?

Before you read:

1. Aventurine pairing.

2. Apart from Penacony, most planets are original, so familiar characters may not appear often.

3. Happy ending, but the romance develops slowly and the male lead appears late.

4. Honkai: Star Rail has a lot of plot, so some original details may be mixed in.

5. Set after the 2.3 main story. Please don't worry if it conflicts with canon.

Theme: Live toward death.
