[Genshin Impact] A Fontaine Romance Diary

After going from a Hydro Archon to an ordinary person, Furina finally gets to live a life of her own.

But Neuvillette is struggling to manage Fontaine, which is in chaos after the disaster, so Furina has to help out behind the scenes and in plain sight.

At this time, the Knave returns to Snezhnaya to report, only to suffer a crushing defeat. For some reason, she ends up as Furina's bodyguard and assistant, and they spend some time together.

Later, the Knave takes Furina back to Snezhnaya. The Tsaritsa watches their clasped hands and falls silent:

"Wasn't I asking you to bring me the Gnosis?"

"Yes, I already brought it back."

"Then you..."

"There's another heart I forgot to report to Her Majesty the Tsaritsa."

"What heart?"

"A god's heart."

This story picks up after the Fontaine main storyline. The later developments are my own headcanon. For that reason, I'll try to avoid conflicting with the official Genshin Impact setting. Some details may feel a little incongruous because they're there to build character and develop the plot, so please bear with me. I might add new lore too, depending on how things go.

I ship couples all the time, so I think this pairing is incredibly compelling. Writing it makes me really happy.

Ahem, of course, I'm putting Furina through the wringer. In my story, she has to spend every day with the terrifying Harbinger!

"Furina, are you afraid of me?"

"N-no, I'm not!" (She puts her hands on her hips and raises her voice, bluffing.)

The Knave: smiles gently.

If anything could be better, please point it out. I'd really appreciate your understanding.

If you like it, please show your support too. Leave a comment or add it to your collection. Pretty please!
