You Must Walk with the Moonlight

You're an intern nurse who spends every day doing odd jobs in the psychology department.

What? The world of One Piece needs psychological counselors too?

Of course not. You're so bored you spend all day washing gauze.

But actually, you're born with a healing constitution (not really). Your Devil Fruit ability can affect other people's emotions and mental states.

Then, while you're working the night shift, you run into a young master who can't sleep because of a nightmare.

The main story is written in third person.

At first, the heroine travels with the crew. It's a happy, fun family adventure, with a little flirtation between her and the young master on the side.

Only later do you find out the young master is a jerk (what).

The ending isn't sweet, the writing is clumsy, and the plot is bizarre. Please go easy on me QaQ

And he was busy scrambling for power, rarely looking up again at the moon that waited for him so gently.

But on the rare occasions when he did, in the middle of a torrential downpour at night, or after waking up drenched in sweat, he would look up in a daze and see no trace of moonlight, nor of the little white flowers blooming beneath it.

He would realize that this was something he simply could not tolerate.

So he took up the shackles and demanded that the moon stay by his side forever.

Even if that heavenly body had already grown dim.

Even if that flower bud had already withered.

Warnings:

1. If you insist on the love interest being chaste, don't read. Everyone knows what the young master's like.

2. A few details may not line up with the timeline, but they basically don't affect the plot. Please let me off the hook, timeline sticklers.

3. I'm not a professional in psychology, and neither is the heroine. There won't be much psychology-related content, so please treat any errors as entertainment.

4. The heroine comes off as a bit too saintly in Chapters 14 and 15. Skip them if you don't like that.

5. The heroine's name comes from the Spanish word for "moon" (I really did try to tie it into the theme).

6. I can't afford to commission art, so I drew the cover myself (^_^;). I'm all about keeping things simple and frugal. My drawing skills are awful, so please don't roast me orz. I didn't give the heroine a bounty in the story, so I left it blank.
