Synopsis

[Free to read, written for fun and catharsis. If you need to vent about life, feel free to comment. Your stories might inspire me, and I may even work them in!]

[Of course, if you can, you can use this to study, too.]

My name is Su Nai, and I write Detective Conan fanfiction.

Just as I finished the 3 a.m. update I'd promised my readers, a thunderclap split the sky, and I transmigrated, becoming the distillery's accountant.

Thinking of the introductory accounting exam I'd only just started preparing for, and the CPA exam I hadn't even begun studying for, I couldn't help but feel my heart sink.

I never knew how hard it was to be an accountant. I wrote my heroine into a job handling expense reimbursements for the distillery, and now that it's my turn to do it myself, there's only one thing I want to ask:

Do I get proof of internship?

Also known as:

"Reborn as the Distillery's Accountant"

"Shouldn't Rebirth Make Your Life Better, Not Worse?"

"Where the Hell Is That Missing Dime?"

"Lord Gin Blew Up This Company Three Days Ago. You Don't Need to Balance the Books Anymore."

"You Say I'm Working Without a License? Sorry, I Studied Finance."

Little skit 1:

Debate competition. The opposing team: "This matter cannot be verified at present."

Me: Verified? What certificate are you talking about?

"You clearly don't understand what it's like to be a finance student."

Little skit 2:

Asked which member of the distillery I like best.

Me: Obviously Gin, who murders, burns, and commits every evil under the sun.

"Blow it up, and the books will balance."

Reader's guide:

1. This is a short, unhinged story. Updates are irregular, depending on how I feel after studying that day. It won't interfere with updates to my story next door.

2. You're welcome to come study along with me.

3. College students only care about proof of internship. If there's anything else, it's volunteer hours.

Theme: I wronged Heaven and Earth in my past life, so this time I have to be an accountant
