A Battlefield of Love Between Monster Brothers

After his best friend died unexpectedly, Chu Wen took in his friend's younger brother.

But gradually, things at home started to feel strange.

The constant sense of being watched from every corner, the suffocating feeling of tentacles winding around him as he slept, and a faint, sweet fragrance in the air...

Whenever he brought it up, Bai Tingxun would just blink and say with a smile, "Nothing's going on, Brother. You're imagining things."

Chu Wen could only reassure himself the same way.

Until one night, he woke with a start and heard a wet, sticky sound beside him.

He turned his head and saw Bai Tingxun kneeling by his bed, wearing the face of his dead older brother. The tentacles behind him had wound uncontrollably around Chu Wen's waist.

The fragrance in the room grew stronger. He leaned close and asked gently,

"A-Wen, do you like me like this?"

Chu Wen had never known that his old friend Bai Fuzhi and his younger brother were not human.

Their species was called Ketes, and each of them would choose only one mate for life.

Ketes marked the mate they chose. Once the mark took hold, the mate could smell a scent unique to them and would gradually become saturated with it. The volatile emotions inherent to the Ketes could also be soothed only by their mate's scent.

One night, Bai Fuzhi, who had faked his death and returned, pushed open Chu Wen's bedroom door, eager to take in his scent.

Instead, he saw his younger brother holding Chu Wen in his arms, tentacles spreading out to wrap him tightly, his nose buried in the back of Chu Wen's neck.

Hearing the sound, Bai Tingxun raised his head and looked at the brother who had "come back from the dead." His deep red eyes curved in a satisfied smile.

"Brother, the mark you secretly left on A-Wen has already been overwritten by mine."

A nonhuman romance, with two brothers vying for the same love interest. Title to be decided.

The younger brother is the pursuing partner. The recipient only sees the older brother as a good friend, and the older brother's mark was placed secretly.
