I Beg You, Stop Trying to Get Yourself Killed

"I'm an atheist.

"The day I met you, God opened his eyes."

When they first met, Yu Su thought Chu Shi was an insufferable, sick-in-the-head Bking who looked down his nose at everyone. So Yu Su prepared a special little "surprise" for him.

The two traded barbs and nearly rolled up their sleeves to fight.

The second time they met, Chu Shi sacrificed his clothes to save a kitten and had no choice but to ask Yu Su for help.

Yu Su was amused. "Beg me."

Chu Shi: "...I beg you to stop trying to get yourself killed."

One was sarcastic, the other snarky. They thought they were at each other's throats for good, but before long...

Classmate 1: "Brother Yu, you've got a cat these days?"

Yu Su: "Yeah. Chu Shi rescued it."

Classmate 2: "Yu Su, I heard your sister fainted by the roadside last time. Luckily, a kind stranger took her to the hospital?"

Yu Su: "Yeah. Chu Shi took her."

Friend 3: "Yu Su, I heard some psycho stabbed people outside your school a while back, and you were taken hostage at first? Are you okay?"

Yu Su: "...I'm fine. Chu Shi took the knife for me."

When Yu Su looked back on the day he met Chu Shi, it seemed like nothing more than the most ordinary day of that midsummer. People came and went along the street, the air was stuffy, and the cicadas were deafening.

He had never dreamed that one day he would fall for the Bking he had disliked at first sight.

Once he fell, it was for a lifetime.

Campus romance, mutual salvation, rekindled love, happy ending.

"All these years, he kept trying to scoop up water with a bamboo basket.

But in the end, he lifted a reflection of the moon."
