After I Shrunk, I Fell into My Ex-Husband's Hands

Ji Xiling is a promising young professor at A University. The biggest mistake of his life was marrying a game streamer.

On the day they divorce, Ji Xiling wants to announce the joyous news to the whole world and celebrate it every year as an anniversary.

He also plans to take a vacation and travel to clear his head. He's already bought the plane ticket.

Outside the civil affairs bureau, Gu Ye looks at him. "Your stuff's still at my place. Want to pick it up tomorrow?"

A rare sneer appears on Ji Xiling's usually expressionless face. "Mail it. Even if I have to tear my own head off, I'm never seeing you again."

After trading threats and blocking each other, Ji Xiling opens his eyes again and finds that he's shrunk!

Even stranger, he's ended up at his ex-husband's house and has been bound to a System.

A gust of wind makes Ji Xiling shiver. He drags his miniature body over to the big desk, clambers up with a great deal of effort, strips the clothes off the Gu Ye cotton doll the fans gave him, and puts them on himself.

This is definitely all Gu Ye's fault. Let him go naked!

Gu Ye suspects there are mice in his house. How else can he explain the cookies and candy that keep mysteriously disappearing?

One night, he gets up for a drink of water and catches sight of a dark shape near his desk. He approaches with an electric fly swatter.

But beneath the moonlight, he sees his miniature ex-husband fast asleep in a cookie tin.

Gu Ye falls silent for a moment, then reaches out and pokes the little guy's cheek. Ji Xiling hugs his finger and rubs against it, clinging tightly.

The next morning, Ji Xiling wakes up to meet a pair of smiling eyes.

"Good morning, Xiling."

Gu Ye reaches out and pokes him until he rolls several times. He watches as Ji Xiling lands in a pile of blankets, dazed and dizzy as he sits up.

Gu Ye props his head on one hand and cheerfully toys with the tiny guy. "Did you love me too much to leave me behind on vacation, so you came back to visit?"

Ji Xiling gets up, grabs his index finger, and bites down hard. He doesn't let go, even when Gu Ye gasps in pain.

Affection points? To hell with that stupid System and his ex-husband!

Ji Xiling never expected that after their divorce, the two of them would end up living together in a different way.

Gu Ye takes him along in his pocket when he goes out. When Ji Xiling peeks out of his breast pocket, Gu Ye can't resist rubbing him over and over. "See a car you like? I'll get it for you. I can even buy you an entire parking lot."

Ji Xiling stares at a neat row of toy model cars, two for 10 yuan, his face cold.

After Gu Ye accidentally spills water again, flooding Ji Xiling's house (a tissue box), Ji Xiling can't take it anymore and decides to run away.

He storms off in a fury for half an hour. When they measure him, he's walked two and a half meters.

Gu Ye sees things are going badly and quickly placates him. "Don't be mad. I've prepared a huge mansion for you to move into."

He pulls out a Barbie Dreamhouse in a fantasy pink.

Ji Xiling breaks down.

The only benefit of being tiny is getting to eat blueberries as big as watermelons and mangoes with no pits, even if he eats until he's stuffed.

As he eats the food his ex-hubby gives him, Ji Xiling thinks that as soon as he turns back to normal, the first thing he'll do is dump Gu Ye and go home.

If he sees that punchable face one more time, he'll tear his head off :)
