Reborn: Comeback in Showbiz

Cheng Yi debuted as a child star. She shot her first commercial at five, began acting at six, and at seven starred alongside award-winning actors to take the box office crown. At eight, she appeared on countless programs and gala shows...

Her future had once seemed dazzling, but then her path took a turn. As an adult, Cheng Yi became synonymous with a child prodigy who failed to live up to her promise. Her grades were at the bottom of her class, she was buried under a torrent of bad reviews, she failed her arts college entrance exams, and her eyes were devoid of life.

The online hate turned into public mockery. Cheng Yi was utterly crushed, and jumped from a bridge to end her life.

When she woke up again, Cheng Yi realized she had been reborn.

The good news: She was back at age eighteen.

The bad news: This was when she was being criticized more harshly than ever.

The good news: A seemingly incredible comeback System had appeared in her mind, promising to help her reach the pinnacle of life.

The bad news: The System was domineering, caustic, strict, and terrifying.

At first, Cheng Yi thought there was nothing worth living for in this world. But after being forced to stumble and struggle her way forward, she began to feel that there was nothing in this world to fear.

Theme: Every difficulty can be overcome, and the long road ahead still shines.
