Hong Kong Female Criminal Profiler [1990s]

Zhang Jiaxin is a world-renowned forensic psychiatrist. She never expected to transmigrate and become a rookie criminal profiler at Star Kowloon Police Station in 1990s Hong Kong.

On her first day as a new recruit, she offended her superior, Lin Hao, because her profile identified him as the criminal.

Lin Hao: "With skills like yours, did you graduate on luck?"

Zhang Jiaxin: Luck is a kind of skill too, but would she dare talk back? Obviously, she was too timid.

To prove that her abilities were the real deal, she had no choice but to solve the case overnight, thanks to her photographic memory.

The psychopathic serial killer who had committed nine crimes: "I even changed my sex. You figured that out too?"

The whole station was in an uproar.

Her superior, Lin Hao, thought she'd just gotten lucky, so he dumped three major cold cases on her and told her to profile them.

Lin Hao: "Looks like you'll use up all your luck this time."

Zhang Jiaxin, the walking hard drive: "Easy peasy. Just wait and see!"

The killer who hid a body in a sewer shook his head on the day he was caught: "I've had it hidden for thirty years. I'm ninety now. I'm already lying in my coffin, and you still had to bring me back to face justice?"

Before taking his own life, the killer who always left only a head behind said: "I've been a prodigy since childhood. I never thought I'd fail to escape your notice."

The killer who was ruthless enough to kill himself said: "I only lost because I wasn't as ruthless as you!"

Her superior, Lin Hao, still thought she wasn't skilled enough, so he tossed her several more major cases.

This time, Zhang Jiaxin cut him off: "What are you going to say this time?"

Lin Hao: "Good luck."

Zhang Jiaxin: ?

In barely half a year, Star Kowloon Police Station seemed to have become an advanced unit renowned for cracking cold cases. The senior officers who had planned to show off in front of their new junior colleague all turned into her admirers.

Lin Hao still didn't trust her abilities and kept handing her case after case, ten volumes at a time. She couldn't help feeling that something was off.

Then, after a major case, Lin Hao vanished as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth. No one knew whether he was alive or dead.

And after Zhang Jiaxin suffered a brain injury, she lost her photographic memory...
