The Little Things in Our Ninja World

The Third Great Ninja War had barely cooled down, and the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, had barely settled into his seat when a screen appeared out of nowhere and shattered an already fragile status quo.

Just what was the screen saying?

It showed the twin children of the future Sixth Hokage and a hero who died in the Third Great Ninja War. If men having children with men was no big deal anymore, could the living and the dead have children in the future too?

Just then, a certain Snake Aunt passed by on the screen, flashing a peace sign and keeping her role in all this a secret.

Minato was just about to comfort the only surviving student of Team Minato, who was standing beside him in ANBU uniform, when the screen introduced someone new: the son of his future son and Uchiha Fugaku's second son.

Minato Namikaze: Huh?

How did I never realize this kind of fiction was so niche?

At first, they thought the screen was just a memento for the kids to play around with, and a chance to tease their parents.

But as it kept playing, everyone realized something was wrong.

The Fourth Great Ninja War, the thousand-year plan, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, dutiful son Black Zetsu, Otsutsuki Kaguya, and the revelation that everyone had been one big family a thousand years ago, none of it mattered!

What mattered most was that in the future, they would fight aliens, defend their home, and explore the other worlds beyond the ninja world!

Minato Namikaze: Stop fighting! Everyone, stop fighting!

What's the point of fighting? What civil war? Senju Hashirama, Uchiha Madara, and all the rest, bring them all back to life! Get everyone together, prepare for battle, defeat the aliens, and break out of the ninja world!

Why bother being a Kage? Our goal is the stars and the sea!

Reader's Notes

1. Pairings: KakaObi, SasuNaru, and HashiMada, more than friends but not quite lovers (they're both old enough to see through each other's act, but they don't call it out). Other pairings include ShikaTema, SaiIno, and other canon couples.

2. This is in the style of stories where a giant screen suddenly appears. Expect OOC characters. The timeline serves the story.

3. I couldn't decide between the Fourth Great Ninja War era and the era when Minato was alive, so I'm going with both. The Fourth Great Ninja War content will be a side story. I also want to write about the village's founding, so maybe I'll write it all together.

4. The worlds beyond the ninja world will probably include Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, Fate, and others.

5. The blurb and story details will be fleshed out as I write.
