Josiah Wayne is, on the surface, Gotham's darling little prince, a black-haired, blue-eyed boy praised by the media. In reality, every night he puts on what he calls his glowing red-and-green traffic-light suit and joins one of the Robins following Batman.
By the way, his Batman is the one who wears a high-collared trench coat, stands two meters tall, and is a musclebound hulk who knocks out one villain after another with a single punch.
That's right, this Batman is Damian Wayne, aka the awful dad Josiah complains about.
Josiah: The more I think about it, the madder I get. What kind of dad tells his son, "I was climbing snowy mountains when I was three. You're almost thirteen, and you haven't even finished climbing one"?
So annoying.jpg
Convinced that Uncle Dick started the noble tradition of running away from home, Josiah makes another wish to his adorable little sister, Jucy.
"I want to run away from home! I want a new dad!"
His adorable little sister agrees at once: "Okay."
The next day, little master Josiah wakes up in a dilapidated alley in Gotham and says he wants to go home.
Jucy: No, brother. I don't have enough energy left. There's only one way now: you have to earn Dad's approval and trade it for enough energy to go home.
He thinks his adorable cat face will make it easy to win his dad's approval.
Josiah: What kind of monsters and demons are these?!
A Robin dad who's younger than him but still seems normal, a Batman dad who's gone dark and killed his best friend, a Robin dad who joined Superman's side without hesitation and spouts nothing but justice, a dad who's the head of the League of Assassins and wants to destroy the world, a dad who somehow became the eldest brother in the family, a dad with a deathly pale face wearing a tattered Robin suit, and Grandpa Bruce suddenly smiling and wearing red lipstick...
Josiah: What the heck? Aren't smiling boys supposed to have good luck?
Even worse, there are dads from timelines that don't even exist. How am I supposed to earn their approval?
And every single kind of dad is a pain to deal with. Do they have to make such a big deal out of climbing snowy mountains?
Josiah: How many snowy mountains did Talia al Ghul make you climb? Why are you still so hung up on them?
Josiah, giving up completely: I don't need to go home to this family anymore!!!
★Reading notes★
This is a Batman-kid story with Josiah as the protagonist, from the earlier story "Zoldyck and Wayne" (he's Damian's son). You can read this without reading the previous story, since the two aren't closely connected, and his abilities will be explained.
1. Josiah is Damian's child.
2. The other children from the previous story (Carlos) will also appear. The current setting is that Josiah can use Jucy's powers to temporarily change his appearance, increase his abilities, use the other children's skills, and so on.
3. Since Josiah has Zoldyck blood, his brain and mind are a little abnormal (important!!). Jucy's abilities are based on Nanika from "Alluka Zoldyck." She and Josiah used to be one, but were later separated, much like Alluka and Nanika.
4. I'll refine the blurb further before I start posting. I made the background text layout myself. The character art comes from an artist on the forum. Thanks to them!
