Another Day Surviving at My Imperial Brother's Hands

Ji Yue transmigrates into a book.

The good news: The future emperor takes him home as his adopted son, and he can become crown prince without having to compete for a good reincarnation.

The bad news: His older brother is eyeing him like a hawk, and his mental state is basically (screaming) (twisting) (brooding) (crawling)...

Big Brother's daily madness, part 1:

He hands his little brother a cup of wine. "Be a good boy and drink this poison. I'll send you to the afterlife."

His little brother refuses, so he draws his sword with a dark look. "What? Do you want me to kill you with my own hands?"

His little brother gets ready to drink, and he angrily knocks the cup away. "Who told you to drink it? Did I say you could die?"

Little brother: ...

Big Brother's daily madness, part 2:

His little brother trips and falls.

Big Brother: "Where did you hit yourself? Is it bleeding? Are you hurt? Get the imperial physician!"

Little brother: "I'm not hurt."

Big Brother: "Oh, good."

Little brother: "But it hurts."

Big Brother: "No need to call the physician."

Little brother: "It really hurts."

Big Brother: "If only people could die from pain."

Little brother: ...?

Big Brother's daily madness, part 3:

He pulls over a palace guard. "Little brother, you looked at him three times today. Do you like him?"

Knowing how inexplicably possessive his brother is, he gives the clever answer: "No, you're the one I like!"

His brother narrows his eyes and draws his sword. "As if you're worthy. Don't drag me into this."

Little brother: =_=

[Big Brother's Perspective]

First life: "He was the moon, unreachable in the heavens, while I was a pitiful wretch, struggling in the darkness and hoping to claim a sliver of his light."

Second life: "That's not him! That's not him! Where did he go? Where did he go? Aaaaaah!"

Nth life: "Fine, here we go again? This time, I'll... Wait, he's back?!"

Then one day, Ji Yue, struggling to stay alive, suddenly notices his big brother has entered a new state of mind: (humble) (cautious) (pitiful puppy)...

Ji Yue: @_@
