[Western Crossover] Building a Spy Organization Through Gacha

[This is an alternate-timeline Brian. The timeline feels a little tricky to write right now, so I may revise the synopsis before starting, but the characterization won't change.]

Brian Newman accidentally transmigrated into a drug den. After eight years fighting criminals, he finally won his physical freedom.

To make a living after gaining his freedom, Brian chose to become an ethical, principled professional assassin.

He was simply too good at his job.

Years later, after a slip-up exposed his identity, Brian was surrounded by the forces of justice.

The CIA stood to his left, MI6 to his right, the Avengers in front of him, and a few superheroes from the Justice League behind him.

At the critical moment, a gacha System called "A Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming a Legendary Secret Agent" suddenly appeared, claiming to be Brian's long-overdue golden finger, more than ten years late.

Brian: ...

He looked at the CIA on his left, MI6 on his right, and the SHIELD agents in the distance, then politely asked the System, "Sorry, but what do I do if it's already too late to join an existing spy agency?"

Seeing this, the System immediately changed its name to "A Step-by-Step Guide to Building a Legendary Spy Agency."

Question: What does a spy agency in a superhero universe need most?

Answer: Reliable agents.

Brian discovered that the gacha System's character pool was filled with characters from action movies, including villains.

Reliable agents had arrived!

Who's this? James Bond from the 007 series. Pull.

Who's this? Ethan Hunt from Mission: Impossible. Pull.

Who's this? Harry Hart from Kingsman. Pull.

Who's this? John Wick from John Wick. Pull.

A few years later, Brian had successfully changed careers and built the world's largest villain (crossed out) spy agency through gacha pulls.

**

Other natives: MI6, the CIA, the KGB... How is he poaching people from every country's spy agencies?!

And his character pool is full of the best of the best.

He even managed to recruit the real deal! Damn it!

Reader's Note:

For now, this is an alternate timeline in which James Bond never picked up Brian. His personality differs from the one in the other story: he's more lively, enthusiastic, and talkative, an American sweetheart with a sweet exterior and a dark core. He kills without blinking, but deep down, he's still a good person.
