My Years as the Cat Kingdom's King

On the first day after I transmigrated, a hundred loyal axemen followed my command, stormed the palace, killed the evil and brutal old king, and proclaimed me the new king.

The procedure was simple and easy to understand, absurdly ridiculous, and even a third grader could learn it.

Even more ridiculous was that I'd transmigrated as a cat. I couldn't turn into a human, but I could walk upright and had nine lives.

Years later, I still hadn't gotten used to being an eccentric cat, but the humans and animals across the country had already gotten used to being ruled by a cat.

One day, I stumbled across a wanted poster depicting one of my fluffy, boot-wearing kin.

Another day, I heard that a dragon-riding boy had appeared on an island in the country, accompanied by someone named Toothless.

...His Majesty, the wise and mighty king who had unified the realm, still refused to admit he was a cat and had therefore been diagnosed by the royal physician with species identity disorder. Sitting in his palace, chin resting on his front paws, he fell into deep thought:

I may have misunderstood this world.

Reader's Notes:

The male lead has no CP. A short story, told in third person. An overly serious cat king in an overly ridiculous fairy-tale setting. A crossover with lots of animated films and fairy tales, with an original world. I've recently decided to bring this interesting abandoned project back, but I'm not sure when I'll write it.

Theme: To be decided.
