Mr. Hollow from the Hagiwara Family

To understand and learn about emotions, the Arrancar Eldes opened a Garganta leading to the World of the Living and unexpectedly met a human.

A human who taught him what emotions were.

A human who belonged to him alone.

No one could take him away, not even a Soul Reaper.

Substitute Soul Reaper, Kurosaki Ichigo: Hey, when he dies of old age, I'm still the one who'll have to perform his soul burial, right?!

Arrancar, Eldes: I can do it too. (Looking at the Zanpakuto he gained after becoming an Arrancar.)

Human, Hagiwara Kenji: I'm only in my twenties! Don't start talking about what happens after I die! That's terrifying!!

*

For Hagiwara Kenji, the day he met Eldes was the day he was 'reborn.'

Because this terrifying humanoid monster completely upended everything he thought he knew.

He had just escaped a bomb blast with his life, only to come face-to-face with a terrifying nonhuman. And yet this monster said he only wanted to stay by Hagiwara's side and learn about emotions.

For the sake of his own life and his teammates', Hagiwara gave in.

As he spent time with Eldes, Hagiwara expected to be too anxious to eat or sleep. What he never expected was that he would actually enjoy himself.

After all, Eldes was handsome and adorable. He was incredibly powerful, yet surprisingly obedient!

But...

When will he break his bad habit of trying out each new emotion he's learned on Hagiwara?

Of course, Hagiwara is more than happy to let Eldes try out love.

But he strongly refuses to be the target of negative emotions!

He really doesn't want little Eldes to hate him!

Not even pretend hate!!

*What's it like for a human to date a Hollow?

Hagiwara Kenji: I just worry that after I die and become a Soul Reaper, little Eldes will dump me.

Eldes: I'm fine with a love-hate relationship, too.

Hagiwara Kenji: I'm not!! Little Eldes, you're picking up bad habits!!

Reader's Guide:

1. This idea was originally meant for my second book, but I forgot about it, so I'm finally writing it now.

2. A sweet, romance-focused story about a monster who knows nothing about emotions, learns about them from a human, and falls in love with him.

3. Start date TBD.

Theme: Even a Hollow who doesn't understand emotions can learn to love someone.
