Do Not Feed the Escape Game NPCs

After Nan Xi died of illness, he was pulled into a horror escape game and assigned the role of an unremarkable NPC. His main job was to scare new players in each dungeon and make it harder for them to clear.

Dungeon One:

Today was the day the master of Anping Town took his seventh concubine as a bride, hoping the wedding would bring him good fortune. Nan Xi joined the other servants, working from early morning until the bride entered the house at dusk.

After dinner, Nan Xi received his mission: carry a skull to the concubine's window and knock. If nobody opened it, keep knocking. Once it opened, grin at the person, say nothing, and turn to run.

Nan Xi followed the instructions. As soon as the window opened, he bared his teeth in a grin. But when he looked up at the person inside, he went berserk. What kind of bride was a nine-foot-tall man?!

The other person seemed unable to see the skull in Nan Xi's arms. He reached out with long, slender fingers to touch Nan Xi's chin, and murmured seductively, "I've got food in here. Want to come in?"

Like hell he did!

Nan Xi turned to run, but the other man grabbed him by the back of his collar and hauled him into the bridal chamber for the whole night...
