Transmigrate into a Book, but Only Halfway

Nan Qing is a hardcore otaku, with a huge collection of merch featuring his 2D male idols, including but not limited to figurines, badges, and life-size body pillows.

His daily routine consists of cosplaying his 2D male idols and drooling over their merch.

Then one day, as he drifted off to sleep with his life-size Dazai Osamu body pillow in his arms, a sinister voice suddenly whispered in his ear, "Take your hand off me. Do you want to die?"

Startled, he realized the pillow in his arms had turned into a soft, warm, living body. His 2D idol had come to life.

Nan Qing understood at once: he had transmigrated into a book, just like in the stories.

But there was a problem: he had only transmigrated halfway. In other words, the space of his real world had overlapped with that of the 2D virtual world. Both worlds existed at the same time, and people from each could see and interact with one another.

Nan Qing cheered, "Awesome! Now I can live with my 2D idols in the real world!"

The people of the 2D world: "What does it mean for space to overlap? And who is this idiot who suddenly appeared and keeps grinning?"

Day One: While Nan Qing was lounging in bed in a state of undress, his room overlapped with the Mafia's morgue.

So when Nan Qing woke up, stretched, and sprang upright in bed, the Mafia's coroner ran out screaming, "A corpse in the morgue just came back to life!"

Nan Qing looked in the mirror. "Well, I haven't left the house in half a month. I really do look like a corpse."

Day Two: While Nan Qing was eating luosifen in his room, it overlapped with the distillery's conference room.

The distillery crew, in the middle of a meeting: "Where's that smell of a corpse coming from? Draw your guns!"

Nan Qing: "Come over here. Let me introduce you to a delicacy from my hometown."

Day Three: Nan Qing put on his Kaitou Kid cosplay outfit to go to an anime convention. As he admired his good looks in the mirror, he heard a chorus of guns being drawn around him. "It's Kaitou Kid!"

It turned out his room had overlapped with the Conan world.

Facing the police officers pointing guns at him, Nan Qing patiently explained, "I'm just wearing my idol's skin."

Theme: Be a good person.
